I started this site mainly to help me get to grips with WordPress as I don’t have much experience with it.

I’m interested in building standards compliant websites and so far have stuck to CSS/HTML with some dabbling in MySQL and PHP to add a dynamic edge to things. I’m using WordPress as a stepping stone further in that direction.

Generally I intend using the site as a personal repository, mainly for things that were of use or interest to me such as: code snippets, notes on techniques that worked for me or that I found useful to keep as reminders, book references, new artists, photographs etc. If any of them are useful to others then so much the better – feel free to dip into anything you find on this site. If there is anything you find useful a link or a note would be good but it’s not required.

Not everything will be WordPress or web related. I’m a Physics graduate and retain an active interest in: Relativity (Special and General), Cosmology, Astrophysics and Quantum Theory so you’ll probably find material in those areas too – whether you find it interesting or useful is another question.

Live music is a big thing for me too – not sure how much that will find its way on here. I worked with unsigned artists until recently but that has gone quiet for now. It might pick up again in a different form later but for now I’m quite enjoying the new found time to pursue other interests so we’ll see. Happy Travels
